Copycat the Cool Way #3

This week has been full of emotional ups and downs. Lots of stress, but lots of happiness too! I got the wonderful news that will be a leader for next year’s o-week at my university! I am so overjoyed, and after meeting everyone and going through Spring training today, I am excited beyond excited. I’ll write more on it later! I can’t wait to share this experience with everyone! Also, I’m not feeling very descriptive today. I’m sorry for my minimal outfit explanations.

Here we go:

Monday- I forgot to pick out my outfit, and I was in a rush, so I ended up with this outfit. The cardigan is really comfy. I love it so much. That’s all I have to say.

The cardigan and jeans are from Old Navy. The shirt is from Forever 21.

Tuesday- I got this outfit from a blog, but I cannot remember which one it was. If you know, let me know. I would appreciate that. This was the day I got the call for sophing, so this outfit is very special.

The jacket is from Wal-Mart. The jeans and boots are from Old Navy. The shirt is from Joe Fresh.

Wednesday- I don’t usually wear make-up, but I think I need to turn over a new leaf and try it out every so often. I put a little effort in, and I felt really good about myself. I got this look from Seersucker & Saddles. Instead of putting the jacket on top, I used the idea of a collared shirt underneath the black dress. I added the cool tights in to add some fun to it. Works just as well with plain black tights though.

The dress is from Old Navy. The button up is from American Eagle. I think the tights are from the Bay.

Thursday- I have done this outfit with a couple different shirts. I picked a floral shirt because today was the first day of spring! I got this look from Seventeen magazine! I also just realized how bad quality that last picture is.

The jeans and tank top are from Old Navy. The belt is from a dress from the Bay. The sweater is from Roots.

Friday- I actually love this outfit. I had to stay at school for an extra sixish hours for soph training, so I wanted to keep it comfy. I got this idea from Une Touche de Rose.

The plaid button up is from Old Navy. The denim button up is from Roots. The tank top is from Garage. The leggings are from Old Navy.

Nails of the Week- I totally forgot to take a picture before I took off the nail polish. But here’s an Internet picture. I wish my nails looked this good. I really loved this colour.

Colour is Sable Collar by Essie.

So after a week of stress, I’m really looking forward to tomorrow night. It is my birthday, and I am going to be of legal drinking age. I have a great outfit chosen, so you’ll get a bonus outfit next week! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Is fall not the best reading season? I’m so glad I’ve had a few opportunities to sit on the front porch, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket with a hot drink and my book. Right now, it’s raining outside and all I want to do is cozy up and get back to my book. I’ve read some great non-fiction in the past six weeks. I’m learning so much about how people relate to the world around them. That is so important to me. Check them out! The Reason I Jump: The Inner Voice of a Thirteen-Year-Old Boy with Autism – Naoki Higashida – 4 Stars         This is a very short book that I think everyone should read – particularly those who work with children. Although knowledge has come a long way, there is still so much more to be learned about autism. This book is a series of question that Naoki Higashida answers from his point of view. Interspersed is also a handful of short stories from Higashida’s point of view.         It’s an incredible book. It’s something that really allows readers to understand ho

James Bond and Indiana Jones are the best. I
